From Military Service to Leadership
My journey began within the esteemed ranks of the Royal Air Force, where I dedicated a decade of my life to serving proudly on a global scale. The culmination of my efforts came to fruition in 2004, when I received a distinguished commendation in the New Year's Honours list. This recognition highlighted my unwavering commitment to professionalism, exceptional dedication to duty, and unyielding efforts in every endeavour.
Having transitioned from military life, I have over seventeen years of experience in the world of Facilities Management, where I served as a Managing Director of a multi-million pound business.
Fuelled by a fervent passion for coaching, I embarked on a transformative path of personal and professional growth, earning my stripes as a certified professional coach. This led to the birth of One Feather Coaching.
My journey has been punctuated by accolades and recognition. Among my accomplishments, I proudly secured victory in the 'Ex-Forces In Business' Business Leader category, a testament to my ability to translate military expertise into corporate leadership. Additionally, I've been honoured as a Top 50 Workplace Leader, a distinction that reflects my commitment to fostering thriving and empowered work environments.
I've made volunteering a priority, I work to support transitioning Veterans as they leave military life and enter civilian employment,
Support through transition to civilian life:
Leaving the military can be a major life change, and it can be difficult for some veterans to adjust to civilian life.
Coaching and mentoring can provide guidance and support during this transition, helping to ease the stress and uncertainty that can come with it.
One Feather supports Veterans during their transitional period.
