My view on leadership began in the Royal Air Force.

Joining as a young woman, I learned quickly that rank is not the same as respect. It became obvious to me that leadership wasn’t about authority.

It was about resilience, owning your decisions and standing firm when the pressure was on. It taught me that people need leaders who serve them, not the other way around. And in those high-pressure moments, clarity is the thing that holds everything together.

When I moved into the corporate world, I took those lessons with me.

I spent 18 years in Facilities Management, working my way up to Managing Director. I was responsible for portfolios worth over £100 million and led large, complex teams through significant change. On the outside, I had "made it.” I had the title, the salary and the reputation. But internally, I started to question if this was all there was. I realised I wanted a different kind of success—one defined by impact and authenticity, not just turnover.

Today, I bring that lived experience to One Feather Coaching.

I’m a multi-award-winning executive and leadership coach, an author, a board advisor and the Chair of the IWFM Veterans in FM Network. I’m recognised globally for my work, but none of that matters as much as the reason I started this business.

I founded One Feather Coaching to give leaders the kind of support I wished I’d had. A space where you can be honest about the challenges you face, safe in the knowledge that I have likely faced them too. I combine nearly three decades of real-world leadership with professional coaching expertise to help you navigate your own turning points.

My role is to help you find the clarity I was searching for—so you can lead with purpose, not habit.
