Since the publication of The Human-Centric Workplace in 2021, one thing remains clear: performance doesn’t come from chasing profit at the expense of people, or from prioritizing people without a sustainable business model. True performance happens when leaders put people and profit side by side, not head to head.
The Human-Centric Leader is a playbook for modern leadership in a world evolving at speed. It challenges long-held assumptions about what it means to lead and replaces them with a practical, human-first approach. Drawing on insights, tools and lived experience, it provides a clear guide to help leaders think differently, act with purpose and lead in ways that create impact.

Louisa Clarke and Simone Fenton-Jarvis will be joining Andrew Hulbert on the Unhinged panel as part of the Workplace Event in April, which brings together industry leaders and experts from across the workplace and facilities management sector.

Workplace Futures 2026
Facilities management has been on a journey for over 40 years. Workplace Futures 2026 will reflect on where we’ve come from, where we are today and — most importantly — where we need to arrive, examining the conditions and capabilities required to ensure the sector continues to evolve successfully.
Within this, Louisa Clarke will be speaking on leadership as critical infrastructure, exploring why leadership capability is no longer a “nice to have” but a foundational requirement for navigating complexity, enabling people performance and sustaining organisations through ongoing change.
This conference comes at a time of heightened uncertainty for FM. Long-standing structural challenges persist, technology continues to advance at pace, and traditional business and financial models are being questioned, making the need for strong, human-centred leadership more critical than ever.

The IWFM Impact Awards is the workplace and facilities management (WFM) sector’s most prestigious annual event. It celebrates and showcases outstanding best practice and ingenuity from an influential profession which touches many areas of life, including some of the greatest challenges facing economies and communities across the globe.
Sustainability, social value, wellbeing and productivity are just a few examples of WFM’s scope, which underlines both its importance and its impacts on organisations, the economy and society.
Previously called the IWFM Awards, the Awards re-emerged for 2020 – as the IWFM Impact Awards to underline the impact the profession has on the organisations it serves and to celebrate the people, processes and products making a daily difference to the workplace experiences of millions.
Entries come from a cross-section of organisations – regardless of size, type and sector – from across the world. This means that being a finalist, or a winner, is a true achievement and testament to the great work carried out by the individual, team, project, collaboration or organisation.

The Workplace Event is the home for workplace and facilities innovation. This forward focused event is the place where the industry meets to be inspired, share best practice and source leading suppliers to create more effective working environments, employee experience, and accelerate organisational performance.
